I have been on 647L up until now. I received my wage slip this morning and it is now 626L and my monthly salary has decreased by £24. I asked my employer who said that it could be something to do with the fact that they’ve just declared that we get medical insurance. Would this affect my tax code and if he said “just declared” does that mean that my tax has been underpaid for the year?
Please help, I don’t understand all these codes!!
