I’m going to be working in Johannesburg for just about a year, and have taken out private medical insurance.
However, what happens in the case of me being involved in a nasty accident. For example, say if I was in a car crash and was unconscious, and an ambulance came. Because they wouldn’t know I have this insurance, would I be taken directly to a state hospital for treatment?
