wwww.ntv.co.ke More than two hundred thousand civil servants will now have access to a comprehensive medical insurance scheme, following the signing of a contract between the government and the National Hospital Insurance Fund. The scheme, which has been in the works for several years, is set to see state employees from teachers,the armed forces to clerks and others spend less on healthcare, starting this year. Although the scheme is one of a kind, it has still been a long way coming. NTV’s Aby Agina explains.
