Helth Cover

I (english resident) am planning to stay in Brazil for a minimum of 6 month and need extensive insurance cover. I will also be driving here therefore need legal protection and medical cover.I am a 53 year old male (diabetic 2 , controlled) Does anyone has some information and experience with insurance cover of this typ?
