The NHS is in serious crisis. If you were given the job of fixing the problem what would you do.
I believe that the time has past for the UK to have free health treatment… too many people, people living longer, treatment more extensive and expensive.
I’m not rich, but I had such an awful hospital experience recently that I would be happy to pay something like an NHS contribution – maybe an income assessed medical insurance.
The trouble is that would bring in a whole debate about equality (someone paying more would expect to go above someone paying less).
Is it time to scrap the NHS and make it similar to the US where you buy medical insurance if you wish or just dont get sick!
