Helth Cover

Myself and 2 friends have recently been involved in a car accident in spain where we were the passengers in a taxi. A car hit us from behind and although the police and ambulance arrived we did not proceed with medical help. The police would not give us a copy of the report, however we did get a report from the taxi driver and the registration numbers from both cars. Since arriving home, we are to inform our insurance companies and seek medical advice.

Can anyone advise us of the spanish law regarding this incident please?
