The accident happened in the United Kingdom, my friend had lunch, when a man lift up a pile of chairs and came in front of him, the chairs legs hit his nose directly accidentially, someone saw. He filled in an accidential report in the place where the accident happened.
in medical side: (a) should he go to A & E in hospital ( have x ray department ) or MFU (injury on the face department) directly?
(b) go to surgery first ?( but the surgery has no Xray)
(c) which kind of doctor should he see?
in other side: he did not buy any insurance in the UK, (still in the process of applying for a national insurance number.)
But he bought insurance in his home country (he is not a british citizen)
(a) what should he do to protect himself?
should he ask a copy of the accident form he filled out in at the place where the lunch hold?
(b) should he ask the doctor in hospital or surgery to give him a document to proof that he had accident and had injury? if yes, how to ask?
(c) how to protect himself in this case? (insurance side)?
He still feel painful when touch the nose.
Please advice urgently!
he has registered in a surgery (but the surgery has no x ray services and no walk in services)
do you mean he goes to A and E first
and then go to surgery to report his injury to the doctor afterwards? not go to A and E for follow up?
